Dr David Rigby
With more than a decade of experience in psychiatry, Dr David Rigby is a dedicated Consultant General and Older Adult Psychiatrist.
Before joining Clinical Partners, Dr Rigby trained as a general and older adult psychiatrist in the NHS, which gave him extensive experience in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient care, psychosis specialist services, and liaison roles. This diverse background enables him to provide comprehensive and tailored care to his patients.
His approach is centred around creating a collaborative environment that helps people make informed decisions about their care. He does this by empowering his patients with knowledge about their mental health conditions and treatment options while ensuring they always feel valued and respected.
Outside of psychiatry, Dr Rigby enjoys hiking, spending time with his family, and listening to podcasts about philosophy and physics. These interests reflect his curiosity and holistic approach to life and medicine.
Dr Rigby's dedication to person-centred care and his extensive experience makes him a valuable asset to Clinical Partners, where he continues to provide exceptional mental health support to older adults.
