Dr Rachel Haughton
Dr Rachel Haughton is an experienced Psychologist with experience in a wide range of settings. She has a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is a member of Health Care and Professions Council.
Dr Haughton’s specialisms include depression, anxiety, stress, adult Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Asperger’s Syndrome. She is currently working for an independent provider with females with post-traumatic stress disorder, suicidal ideation and self-harm.
Dr Haughton is trained to deliver a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MBCT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Rachel believes that developing a good therapeutic relationship with her clients is key to help them feel safe and empowered to move forward and change their lives. She is recognised by colleagues as being incredibly conscientious with superb skills to work with and engage with her clients.
