Dr Nismen Lathif

Dr Nismen Lathif is a skilled consultant psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience in the NHS, treating a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, psychosis, and bipolar disorder.

He has held various NHS leadership roles, including chair of the Medical Staff Committee and associate medical director, where he was responsible for strategic planning and service development.

Dr Lathif provides personalised care that puts the person before the condition. His approach aims to fully understand someone's needs, difficulties, and personality, allowing him to develop tailored treatment plans to help people overcome complex challenges while supporting them across various areas of their lives.

A winner of an NHS excellence award, Dr Lathif's colleagues describe him as empathetic, compassionate, and patient-focused.

In addition to English, Dr Lathif speaks Hindi and Malayalam.

“Very psychologically minded with a focus on what happened to the person rather than what is wrong with them. There are many more strengths and skills, but I want to say, for me, he is the best psychiatrist I have had the pleasure of working with."
