Dr Sheethal Rajashanker

Dr Sheethal Rajashanker is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist who has spent over a decade treating a range of conditions across different age groups from working age adults to the elderly.

Her 10 years as a general adult psychiatry NHS Consultant involved working with both young and older adults, including in a memory clinic. During her time with the NHS she also gained extensive experience teaching and training others, including both doctors and nurses.

Dr Rajashanker has a special interest in women's mental health and understanding the intricate connections between the biological, social, and psychological factors that contribute to wellbeing. She also works with psychiatric inpatients due to her experience in treating complex mental health conditions.

Dr Rajashanker is an empathetic clinician and her experience and training enable her to understand complex issues and work out and how to manage them in the best way for the patient. She is passionate about helping people learn to manage their conditions and change their lives for the better.

As well as English, Dr Rajashanker speaks Tamil and Hindi. She is currently seeing patients online and at our Manchester clinic.
